Cold War Heroes Air Show

We are very excited to announce the launch of the Cold War Heroes Air Show.  To be held July 13th & 14th the show will recognize the men and woman who fought in forgotten wars that preserved our current way of life.  2013 will be a very exciting year as it is the 40th Anniversary of the end U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War 1973 and 60th Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice 1953.  Why recognize the Vietnam conflict you ask in Canada?  We didn't even participate right?  Well that is what is so astounding officially Canada did not send troops but 30,000 Canadians went south of the border to enlist in the U.S. forces to fight the spread of Communism in South East Asia.

What we have planned is an exciting Air Show featuring aircraft that would have been seen over the skies of Korea and a major re-enactment of a Downed Pilot Rescue over South Vietnam.  More than just another Air Show it is a full weekend of amazing flying, live music, remembrance and reunion.  We are also very excited to have weekend camping available on-site.

So make sure to follow the Cold War Heroes website as they launch a special advance ticket offering in the next few weeks which offers visitors an exclusive Air Show offering on the 12th July 2013.  You will not want to miss this.
